Love is All Around You - Story Share

It’s February and love is in the air. Though love means different things to each of us. We are going to explore a few meanings today in our first story share.  Each episode in this series will be full of authors’ works on a common theme. Find info on authors and how to submit below. We have a classic tale of how a husband and wife came together, another that will remind you of by gone crushes, and last, finding love in unexpected places.

 

Sharon Herrick
 Hails from Arizona. She is currently working on her first novel, THE CRY OF THE HAWK. It stars Nathan from her story. Sending all the luck on your project.

 

Danielle Notaro 
She’s a LGBT+ writer/actor of the Lehigh Valley. Danielle has also studied, taught & read in New England& Mid-Atlantic States. She's published in several magazines and journals. Her book, Limn the Mask was self-published in 2013. In 2019, she released a CD of pieces from her book w/improv music, Limn the Chord. She won Outstanding Spoken Word Artist from the Lehigh Valley Music Awards in 2018.

Shirley Goodrum  
Shirley lives in South Africa. She's passionate about her family and writing, is addicted to chocolates walking on beaches, reading, renovating houses, traveling off the tourist track, watching tennis and magnificent sunsets.  A yellowed newspaper cutting found in her late mother's deed box evoked vivid memories and inspired her to write 'Baggage in a B Cup.'

How can you submit to this story share?

Requirements- non-fiction, short stories, and related to the theme. 3-10 min. when read out loud (140-150 words per minute).  You can record the audio or I will.

I can’t promise to use all of them. On the episode I will also read your name and general location you come from (city and state/province ). Need to be YOUR stories. I don’t care if they have been published in other places (unless you violate some copyright by sharing). I am claiming NO rights to your stories at all by airing them.
