Grateful: A Teacher & Student Share Grief

During this personal episode, Jacqui reflects on her time as a high school social studies teacher. During a weeklong field trip to Washington D.C. a message comes from back home. It is the worst news, the father of one of her students has passed away. Untrained for this emergency, she navigates through grief and loss with her charge. Upon their return, the student gifts Jacqui with a touching letter. While attempting not to cry, Jacqui shares the letter and her gratitude for the student and their experience.
